    nice servers.
    affordable price. great food!

okay restroom. most of korean restaurants need to up their restroom game.
I believe the restroom reflects the kitchen.

i gave 5 stars because I Iove the hand painted signs. haha. it adds a style and authenticity.

This is a solid Korean Breakfast soup place. Bae-choo-hae-jang-guk is the thing to order here.

This place is a hole-in-the-wall my gf and I found by chance. Walk into a small Korean establishment in Ktown, and the odds are in your favor. Anyway, food was DELICIOUS. We ordered a fried dumpling dish to share. The skin was super crispy, and the filling was delicious. If you were to ask me what my ideal dumpling tastes like, try their version.. I'm salivating just thinking about it. My friend and I ordered the same thing, the chicken yook ge jang, which is basically a spicy shredded chicken and veggies stew. The  is typically served with shredded beef, not chicken. So this was a first for me, and my curiosity rewarded me well. We were STARVING after being done with a 2 hour facial nearby.. How hungry was I? I burnt my tongue and the roof of my mouth because of how pipingly fresh and delicious the food was. I couldn't stop eating or wait for the food to cool down.. fatty problems.

Oh and the price is decent! Super affordable. They even have soup special of the day for like $5 or something stupid cheap like that. If you want a simple traditional Korean dish that tastes like mom set the table, this is the place. Also, kimchi and kkak ddu gi side dishes were simple but AMAZING. When I shop for kimchi, I look for something similar to what they serve. Might swing by next time I'm in the area to see if they'll sell me a few jars.

Minus one star for the service. And no, it was not busy. Just my friend and I at one table, owner and a friend at another table. There was one young lady at front desk. She spent a lot of time on her phone when she wasn't walking food over to customers. It's pretty normal in Korean restaurants for customers to call the waiter over.. it's not like a Denny's where the waiter checks in on you to make sure you have everything you need. So I'm not hard on Korean servers in that aspect, because I'm familiar with the cultural difference. But she came to take our orders assuming we've been there before, without giving us any menus. She seemed annoyed? I felt rushed. It could also be because they have posters on the walls of certain food items they serve. But what if I couldn't read korean? What if I wanted to check the price first? Assumptions = no bueno. A smile can go a long way. :)

If your looking for authentic korean food without paying overly high price, this is
THE PLACE. There are sooo many choices with great price.
    Portions are excellent.
One of my favorite are, mandoo, dakdorritang(braised chicken stew). Its the BOMB.
BTW, I even buy their prepackaged frozen mandoo $20. Its a huge bag.
You definitely get your money worth. They also serve early bird breakfast soup at cheap price. Also...free parking

This place is one of my favorite Korean restaurants in Ktown! I usually order bossam here and they make the best, tasty bossam.  Price here is reasonable and portions are big.  They makes many different kind of Korean food.
Most of customers are Korean and that makes me think this place is legit.
